I'm not calling anyone out with this post! This is simply to protect you, me, and our community as a whole. None of us no matter how sexually free we are--need to abandon safe sex practices! Especially if your a ho! I'm not judging, I'm just saying "be a safe ho!" Sexual health is an essential part of a fulfilling and safe sex life, especially for gay men. Using a condom correctly is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your partner from HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This guide will walk you through the process step by step, ensuring you feel confident and informed. Read this completely and watch the video at the end. They'll show you how to put it on an actual errect male penis.

1. Choose the Right Condom

Not all condoms are created equal. There's small dicks and little dicks, we all know that--so Select a condom that fits comfortably and is made of high-quality materials like latex or polyurethane. If you have a latex allergy, opt for non-latex alternatives. Make sure the condom is lubricated to reduce friction and enhance comfort. Go all out on your condom experience.

2. Check the Expiration Date

Before using a condom, always check the expiration date on the package. Expired condoms are more likely to break, putting you at risk. If the packaging is damaged or the condom feels brittle, toss it out and use a new one. Something could be wrong with it, and there is no need in taking risky chances- that defeats the purpose.

3. Open the Package Carefully

Use your fingers to tear open the serrated wrapper—never use scissors, teeth, or anything sharp, as this could damage the condom. The texture of a condom is easy to damage, Be gentle to avoid tearing or puncturing it.

Pro tip:  opening the package before foreplay could save you time.

4. Identify the Correct Side/ which is which?

Hold the condom at the tip and pinch the reservoir (the small space at the end) to remove any air. This helps prevent the condom from breaking during use. Make sure the rolled side is facing outward so it unrolls easily. Most uncircumcised men will be able to pull the foreskin back before putting on the condom, if you have alot of foreskin don't push the skin back because it could push the condom off when the skin slides back into place.

5. Roll It On

Place the condom on the head of the erect penis and unroll it all the way down to the base of your hard dick. If there's any air inside squeeze it out towards the base. If you have a thicker dick or longer foreskin you may need to put it on with two hands. Use two fingers from each hand under each side. Then stretch it over your dick head, then pull it all the way down to the shaft! If it doesn’t roll down smoothly, it might be inside out. In that case, discard it and start with a new one to avoid exposure to pre-ejaculate.

Pro tip: be mindful of your fingernails

6. Add Lubrication (Optional)

While many condoms come pre-lubricated, adding a water-based or silicone-based lubricant can enhance comfort and reduce the risk of the condom tearing. Avoid oil-based lubricants like Vaseline or lotion, as they can weaken latex condoms. You want it to feel like your not really wearing one, so I would suggest you opt for the added lube.

7. During Sex

Ensure the condom stays in place throughout intercourse. If it slips off or breaks, stop immediately, remove it, and replace it with a new one.

8. After Ejaculation

After ejaculation, hold the base of the condom while withdrawing to prevent it from slipping off. Carefully remove the condom, tie it off to prevent spillage, and dispose of it in the trash—never flush it down the toilet. You might clog pipies.

9. Clean that shit Up!

Wash your hands and genitals with soap and water to maintain hygiene and reduce the risk of irritation or infection. I personally shower before and after sex.

10. Communication is Key

Talk openly with your partner about using condoms. Mutual respect and understanding create a safer and more enjoyable experience for both of you. Never have sex with some simply because they say they don't have anything. Still use safe sex practices. You never know if someone is being honest until you see paperwork.

Bonus Tips:

Always use a new condom for each sexual act. Condoms are not reusable!!

Store condoms in a cool, dry place—not in your wallet or car, as heat and friction can damage them.

If you’re engaging in anal sex, consider using extra lubricant and a thicker condom designed for anal intercourse. yes they have condoms designed for that purpose specifically.

Using a condom correctly is a simple yet powerful way to protect your sexual health. By following these steps, you’re taking an active role in preventing HIV and STIs, ensuring a safer and more confident approach to intimacy. Stay informed, stay safe, and enjoy your sexual experiences responsibly! Practice safe sex unless your married and you trust your partner.
